Hello, Ií'm James Fisher. I am the manager at Busy Cís and enjoy working with the children, families & the preschool team. I have three children: Meg, Will, and Macky, and a dog Aggie. Caro and I have lived in Lyttelton since 1988 and wouldn'ít live anywhere else. I struggle to do yoga on a weekly basis, thrive on tennis and enjoy walking the dog and riding my mountain bike in the hills around Lyttelton.

Caro Davidson

Kia Ora. I'ím Caro Davidson. I am Busy Cís service provider, and have been since it'ís inception in 1995. My partner, James Fisher, took over the daily management of the preschool after the birth of our 3rd child - Macky - in January Ď98. I am passionate about early childhood and education, and am actively involved with Busy Cís happenings. My background is nursing and at present Ií'm incorporating some work at the Sexual Health Centre, CDHB. I live with my whānau in Lyttelton and we celebrate & support the diverse and unique culture that makes Lyttelton such a wonderful place. I enjoy walking in the hills with the dog on a daily basis; being on the water in summer, heading for the mountains in winter, and generally recreating all over the peninsula. Books, art & movies are a luxurious pastime.

Wendy Lowe

Kia ora, I'm Wendy. I live in Lyttelton with my partner, John. I have two children in their twenties - Karl who lives in Australia, and Erica who lives in Auckland. I have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood), and a Certificate in English Language Teaching. This is my tenth year teaching young children and it is the most rewarding occupation I have had. It is such an honour to be able to spend time with your children: listening to them, being their friend, laughing with them and supporting their learning. My interests include language acquisition, reading, gardening, travel and being close to the sea.

Kia ora, My name is Phillipa (Pip) and I am very pleased to be part of the Busy C's family. I have recently finished my Bachelor of Teaching and Learning at Canterbury University. I previously did some relief work at Busy C's, so I was really happy to return. I grew up on a farm in sunny Marlborough and then decided to travel. I ended up working in the travel industry before following my passion to work with children. I met my partner overseas and we decided to settle in Christchurch, now with three cats and two chickens. I enjoy a spot of gardening and of course traveling to new places. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Kia ora, Konnichi-wa, Hej, Namaste! My name is Nicki Sullivan. After completing a BA at Canterbury University I worked as a Library assistant and taught English in Japan. I then worked as a reliever in various Early Childhood Centres, which spurred my interest to complete a post-graduate diploma in Early Childhood Teaching in 2012. My hobbies include yoga, music, going to markets, walking, toastmasters and trying to learn the guitar and ukulele. My philosophy is to guide and support young children toward seeking their own answers and understanding when making sense of the world around them - enabling them to become confident and competent, independent young people. I look forward to building positive, supportive relationships with you and your children .
